As a key member of the finance team, the Financial Analyst will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data related to the general ledger. This position involves conducting thorough account analysis, performing reconciliations, and preparing financial statements for the Regional Health Ministry ("RHM") and the Market Record to Report ("R2R") shared services area.

The Financial Analyst is expected to possess strong analytical skills, particularly in the context of healthcare financial operations. A solid understanding of external regulatory frameworks, payor dynamics, and other factors influencing healthcare finance is essential. Familiarity with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles ("GAAP") and other regulatory reporting requirements is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of accurate financial records.
  • Conduct detailed general ledger account analysis and reconciliations.
  • Prepare and present financial statements in compliance with established guidelines.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes.

Physical and Mental Requirements:
