Position Overview

As the Clinical Operations Associate Chair, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding clinical faculty to achieve excellence in productivity and quality. Your leadership will be pivotal in enhancing clinic operations and ensuring patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage clinical faculty, establishing clear productivity and quality benchmarks.
  • Monitor clinic performance, including utilization and scheduling, while strategically planning for growth and maintaining high service standards.
  • Ensure compliance with documentation and billing processes, meeting departmental productivity expectations.
  • Evaluate the performance of medical directors and key management personnel, providing constructive feedback and development opportunities.
  • Drive the development and implementation of clinical programs that prioritize safe, personalized, and coordinated patient care.
  • Participate in collaborative meetings with various departments to address operational challenges and set priorities.
  • Work alongside faculty and hospital partners to create long-term strategies for enhancing healthcare quality and safety.
  • Ensure that clinical practices adhere to regulatory standards through collaboration with other departments.
  • Utilize existing infrastructure to develop clinical guidelines and protocols that enhance patient care.
  • Maintain a strong clinical presence through direct engagement with physicians, patients, and staff.
  • Engage in active clinical practice while analyzing costs and opportunities related to service delivery.
  • Foster relationships with healthcare systems to expand patient care capabilities and educational resources.
  • Achieve and uphold mutually agreed-upon clinical operations goals.
  • Illustrate principles of quality improvement and patient safety in interdisciplinary clinical care discussions.
  • Address emerging clinical needs and assist in the development of operational plans as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:
MD/DO with Florida Medical Board certification or eligibility.
