Position Overview
The Department of Neurology at the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville is seeking a full-time faculty member specializing in Neuromuscular Medicine and Electromyography (EMG) at the non-tenure accruing level of Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor.
This role will report directly to the Chairman of the Department of Neurology.
The ideal candidate will be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurology with specialized training in Neuromuscular Disorders and EMG. The successful applicant will collaborate with a team of Neuromuscular specialists to enhance the services provided by our expanding Neuromuscular Division.
Shared responsibilities with fellow faculty members will include inpatient care and on-call duties.
Additionally, there are opportunities for engaging in scholarly activities that may lead to academic advancement.

The Department of Neurology at the University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville is a leading provider of neurological care in North Florida, serving the Neuroscience Institute at UF Health Jacksonville.
Our faculty members are recognized nationally for their expertise, delivering exceptional subspecialty neurologic care.
We are equipped with a Neurointensive Care Unit, a DNV Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center, a Comprehensive Multiple Sclerosis Center accredited by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, an ALS Association Certified Center of Excellence, a Level 4 NAEC-Certified Comprehensive Epilepsy Center, and an AASM-Accredited Sleep Lab.
Our department is responsible for the neurology education of medical students and offers an ACGME-accredited neurology residency program along with a vascular neurology fellowship.
We actively participate in innovative research and clinical trials in collaboration with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.

Candidate Requirements
The successful applicant must possess an MD/DO degree and be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurology, with a focus on Neuromuscular Disorders and EMG.
