Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Healthcare Project Coordinator with experience in Health and Human Services for a contract role. This position involves managing a series of Medicaid Technology Modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
As the Project Coordinator, you will be tasked with:

  • Overseeing and coordinating project management activities for a range of Medicaid-related projects.
  • Managing large-scale initiatives that incorporate significant information technology elements.
  • Driving strategic and transformational changes within the organization.
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive timelines for the project portfolio, as well as detailed schedules for individual projects.
  • Leading meetings and providing regular updates to leadership regarding project status, including budget, scope, schedule, resources, issues, and risks.

Essential Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A robust understanding of both waterfall and agile project management methodologies.
  • The ability to deliver high-quality outcomes that align with operational and technical requirements.
  • Strong multitasking capabilities and the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with various internal and external stakeholders.

Additional Duties:
Responsibilities also include:

  • Providing leadership and guidance throughout all project phases.
  • Ensuring compliance with established project roles and responsibilities.
  • Identifying necessary resources and assisting in the development of project timelines.
  • Maintaining and archiving project documentation in collaboration with the project team.
  • Serving as the main point of contact for project communications and status updates.
  • Facilitating stakeholder involvement in project planning and execution.
  • Managing risks by identifying, documenting, and implementing mitigation strategies.

Minimum Experience Required:
To be considered for this role, candidates should have:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience managing large-scale projects with technology components.
  • Experience in overseeing the planning and execution of major projects.
  • Proven ability to identify and solve problems effectively.
  • Experience leading discussions among diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strong analytical and coordination skills.
