The Customer Success team plays a crucial role in MNTN's mission, enabling clients to fully utilize our platform and achieve essential business results. We are in search of a driven and seasoned Partner Manager to help establish a new focus area within our Customer Success team. This position is vital for fostering and sustaining strong relationships with our strategic partners, ensuring mutual advancement and success.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and nurture strong connections with key partners, including media agencies, technology providers, and measurement firms.
- Identify and assess opportunities within partner organizations to broaden our network and enhance service offerings.
- Develop persuasive narratives and strategies that illustrate how MNTN addresses challenges faced by agency partners and their clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams—marketing, product, and customer success—to ensure smooth integration and execution of partner strategies and advertising initiatives.
- Track and analyze partner performance metrics, delivering regular reports and insights to stakeholders and MNTN leadership.
- Design and implement joint marketing and promotional efforts to boost awareness and engagement.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of partner needs and effectively position MNTN's platform and solutions in the marketplace.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform partnership strategies.
- Provide exceptional support and service to partners, promptly addressing any issues or concerns.
- Conduct regular business reviews with partners to evaluate progress, identify opportunities, and align on future strategies.
- Represent MNTN at industry events, conferences, and meetings to strengthen relationships with potential and existing partners.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in partner management, business development, or a related field within the advertising technology sector.
- Demonstrated success in managing and expanding strategic partnerships with advertising agencies and/or large holding companies.
- Strong grasp of performance marketing and digital advertising technologies, including CTV, programmatic advertising, paid search, and paid social.
- Proven ability to influence clients, employ a consultative sales approach, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, both externally and internally.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Strategic thinker capable of driving initiatives that align with business objectives.
- Proficient in utilizing CRM tools to effectively track and forecast business activities.
- Demonstrated ability to balance service and revenue goals.
- Analytical mindset with the capacity to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Highly organized with strong project management skills, able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proactive, creative, and entrepreneurial mindset with a high degree of ownership.
- Willingness to travel as necessary to engage with partners and attend industry events.
