About Our Role
We are seeking an experienced sales professional to drive growth and expansion for our Tech Diplomacy Academy. As a Sales and Business Development Director, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, fostering strategic partnerships, and developing and executing a comprehensive sales plan to promote our online training and education programs. You will also play a pivotal role in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Actively call and close existing and new opportunities in our pipeline
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, fostering strategic partnerships with potential donors, funders, organizations, channel partners, and VARs
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to promote KITDP's Tech Diplomacy Academy, including both current and future programs
  • Travel as requested to make presentations, pitches, close deals, visit customers, give lectures, make onstage presentations, and give demos about our product and mission
  • Maintain and present sales pipeline status for weekly reporting to leadership, leveraging Hubspot for pipeline tracking
  • Collaborate with Marketing team to create compelling messaging, sales collateral, and presentations
  • Work alongside Customer Success team to onboard your customers
  • Analyze sales data and metrics to assess performance and identify areas for improvement

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus
  • Proven track record of success in B2B/Gov/content/platform/education or similar sales, specifically within the technology and education sector
  • International sales experience is a plus
  • 5-10 years relevant work experience required

Salary Range:$120,000 - $150,000 per year
