Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions at least twice weekly.
  • Manage a caseload of clients, ensuring all case management and utilization review updates are current.
  • Conduct thorough substance abuse evaluations and prepare detailed assessment reports.
  • Assist clients in identifying substance-related problems and developing healthier coping strategies.
  • Complete all necessary client documentation, including progress notes and monthly reports, promptly.
  • Participate in mandatory staff meetings, team discussions, and supervision sessions.
Essential Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in providing direct behavioral health services.
  • Possession of an Associate of Arts degree and certifications (CSAC and ASAM) to serve as a program counselor.
  • Experience collaborating with psychiatrists or physicians in delivering Intensive Outpatient Substance Abuse Services.
  • Proven experience in managing an Intensive Outpatient Program for both adolescents and adults.
Licensure Requirements:
  • Current CSAC or CSAC-A Registration with the appropriate regulatory body.
  • A valid state driver's license and current auto insurance.
  • Certification in CPR/First Aid and Crisis Wave training (to be completed within 15 days of employment).
