Job Summary

Virginia Family Services is seeking a highly skilled Group Facilitator to join our team in our Substance Use Intensive Outpatient Services. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with substance use disorders and mental health disorders, and will be able to facilitate engaging and meaningful groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate two groups daily, following the company's curriculum
  • Enter group progress notes, ISPs, and quarterly reports
  • Complete drug screenings and electronic chart maintenance/audits
  • Assist with individual orientations and provide support to individuals and their families

Requirements:

  • Certification in Virginia as a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor-Supervisee (CSAC-S) or Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC)
  • One year of group facilitation experience preferred
  • Proficient computer skills and organization and communication skills
  • First aid and CPR certification preferred, but not required
  • TOVA certification preferred, but not required
