Group Facilitator

Virginia Family Services is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Group Facilitator to join our team in our Substance Use Intensive Outpatient Services. As a Group Facilitator, you will play a vital role in facilitating meaningful and engaging groups for individuals struggling with substance use disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate two groups daily, following the company's curriculum, which provides the group title, intervention, and additional worksheets and supplies.
- Enter group progress notes, ISPs, completing drug screenings, quarterly reports, electronic chart maintenance/audits, and assist with individual orientations.
- Work closely with individuals and their families to support their recovery journey.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the company's curriculum and treatment approach.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Certification as a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor-Supervisee (CSAC-S) or Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) in Virginia.
- One year of group facilitation experience, preferably in a substance use treatment setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals and groups.
- Proficient computer skills, with experience using electronic health records and other software applications.
- First Aid and CPR certification, with TOVA certification preferred but not required.
