Job Title: Technical Sales Manager

Job Summary:
WESCO International is seeking a skilled Technical Sales Manager to provide strategic direction and leadership in the assigned technical product category. The successful candidate will manage a team of sales specialists, ensuring the delivery of compelling technical presentations and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and execute technical product sales strategies, including objectives and sales goals.
  • Manage a team that specifies products to meet customer requirements and needs.
  • Partner with sales vertical leadership to develop comprehensive sales plans and forecasts.
  • Utilize technical acumen to educate the team on products, competitors, and prospects.
  • Nurture relationships with key customers and suppliers.
  • Partner with internal technical and marketing teams to contribute to the product roadmap.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business.
  • Sales experience in the related industry (5-7 years).
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Electrical industry experience as a manufacturer or distributor (3-5 years).
  • Management of staff and programs (3 years).

Travel Requirements:
  • 25% - 50%
