Strategic Technical Sales Leader

Job Summary:
WESCO International is seeking a skilled Technical Sales Manager to provide strategic direction and leadership in the assigned technical product category. The successful candidate will manage a team of sales specialists, ensuring the delivery of compelling technical presentations and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and execute technical product sales strategies, including objectives and sales goals.
- Manage a team that specifies products to meet customer requirements and needs.
- Partner with sales vertical leadership to develop comprehensive sales plans and forecasts.
- Utilize technical acumen to educate the team on products, competitors, and prospects.
- Nurture relationships with key customers and suppliers.
- Partner with internal technical and marketing teams to contribute to the product roadmap.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business.
- Sales experience in the related industry (5-7 years).
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Electrical industry experience as a manufacturer or distributor (3-5 years).
- Management of staff and programs (3 years).
Travel Requirements:
- 25% - 50%
