Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at the Staybridge Suites in Scottsdale, AZ. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, responding to inquiries, and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Greet and welcome guests, register them into the computer, and provide accurate and timely information and services.
  • Phone and In-Person Inquiries: Respond to telephone and in-person inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information, and guest concerns.
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk, including handling cash and credit transactions, maintaining a house bank, and making deposits and accurate reports of receipts.
  • Problem-Solving: Promptly respond to and resolve guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Communication: Answer the phone promptly and properly, being polite, courteous, and friendly.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting, preferably with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt processes and standards.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, basic computational ability, and basic computer skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours, lift up to 15 lbs occasionally, and perform other physical demands as outlined in the job description.
