COMPENSATION: $85,000 - $95,000 annually plus quarterly performance bonuses

Role Responsibilities:

As a Territory Sales Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to proactively identify and engage potential customers; this includes reaching out to distributors of construction products and collaborating with contractors, architects, and property owners to promote Rust-Oleum's extensive product line.

Key duties include:
  • Presenting, promoting, and selling products/services to both existing and prospective clients
  • Conducting cost-benefit analyses and needs assessments for current and potential customers
  • Building and maintaining positive business relationships with clients
  • Following up on customer leads
  • Resolving customer issues and complaints in collaboration with Customer Service to enhance satisfaction
  • Meeting established sales targets and objectives within designated timeframes
  • Coordinating sales efforts with team members and other departments
  • Analyzing market potential, tracking sales, and preparing status reports
  • Providing management with insights on customer needs, challenges, interests, competitive activities, and opportunities for new products and services
  • Staying informed about best practices and promotional trends
  • Continuously seeking improvement through feedback
  • Performing other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred)
  • Professional Development Credits/Certifications in the industry (preferred)
  • 3+ years of proven experience in outside sales
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and the ability to cultivate productive professional relationships
