Position Overview: We are seeking a licensed and seasoned benefits consultant who is driven and results-oriented. The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record of success in the employee benefits sector. This role is crucial for fostering sales growth and establishing robust client relationships within a company that offers substantial earning potential. As a benefits consultant, you will be tasked with identifying new client opportunities, assessing their requirements, and crafting tailored benefit solutions to align with their goals. You will act as a trusted advisor, offering strategic insights and proactive assistance to help clients realize their business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, solicit, and differentiate benefit plans that align with the needs of clients and prospective customers.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in evaluating clients' insurance requirements and recommending suitable coverage options within their budget.
  • Present tailored proposals to clients, addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have.
  • Facilitate the rollout of new benefit plans, collaborating closely with clients and internal teams.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory developments to ensure clients remain compliant and competitive.
  • Develop and sustain strong relationships with insurance carriers and other industry stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on essential performance metrics, including client retention and revenue growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related discipline (preferred).
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in employee benefits brokerage.
  • Active insurance broker license (mandatory).
  • Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets and cultivating long-term client relationships.
  • In-depth knowledge of employee benefits products and services, including health insurance, retirement plans, and voluntary benefits.
  • Exceptional communication skills, encompassing written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
  • Capacity to work independently while effectively collaborating with team members.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and other relevant tools.
