Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Lead to join our data warehouse project team. In this role, you will be responsible for communicating effectively with clients, triaging tickets, coordinating with Mastek internal team members on ongoing activities, and contributing to solution expansion and key-development activities for enhancement. You will also be responsible for creating functional specification documents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with clients on development work, ticket status, and issue resolution
  • Triage incoming tickets and prioritize issues based on severity and business impact
  • Coordinate with Mastek internal team members on ongoing activities
  • Contribute to solution expansion and key-development activities for enhancement
  • Create functional specification documents
  • Provide technical support to the team members
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data warehouse applications
  • Develop technical solutions for data integration, data quality, and data governance issues
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in data warehousing, ETL processes, and database development
  • Collaborate with the project manager and other team members to ensure timely and effective delivery of project milestones
  • Identify, prioritize, and escalate issues to the appropriate stakeholders as necessary
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data warehousing and analytics
  • Work closely with business analysts, developers, and data scientists to understand data requirements, identify data quality issues, and ensure data is accessible, secure, and well-managed.
  • Collaborate with other teams to define data-related standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to data analysts and database developers as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Proven work 8+ years of experience as a Data Architect/Lead or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, including dimensional modeling, ETL, data quality, and data governance
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle, MS SQL, .Net, Power BI, SSAS TABULAR Cube, SSIS, SnowFlake, modeling, data warehousing, and more.
  • The candidate should have an extensive understanding of database architecture principles and be able to develop efficient and effective data solutions.
  • Experience with creating functional specification documents
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to triage and prioritize tickets based on severity and business impact
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in leading technical support teams and providing mentorship to junior team members.
  • Knowledge of database architecture principles and design patterns.
  • Understanding of ETL processes and technologies.
  • Familiarity with data governance and data management best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
