Job Title: Conformity Inspector

Tundra Technical Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Conformity Inspector to join our team. As a Conformity Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the conformity and logistics efforts across the company are supported in the most effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct conformity inspections, inspections of parts, kits, and test articles according to FAA/EASA regulations.
  • Maintain the conformity schedule for parts, monuments, wiring, and installations, integrating part availability, certification status, and program need dates.
  • Facilitate organizational focus for engineering, certification, and supply chain departments to effectively prioritize work to support operational activity.
  • Identify and recommend corrective actions to Supply Chain relating to part availability.
  • Act as principal liaison between the modification site and production facilities and Supply Chain on part/kit availability, providing a weekly 60-day outlook.
  • Participate in the daily program operations conference call.
  • Support logistics activity across the company, providing guidance on shipping and international shipping couriers and regulations.
  • Maintain program SPI and CPI analysis.
  • Analyze data to develop and maintain appropriate group metrics.
  • Identify and recommend to management areas of waste that should be addressed through improvement activities.
  • Maintain regular attendance, including being at work, being on time to work, and working full shifts.
Requirements:
  • FAA DMIR Certification
  • 4-Year Technical Degree and at least 5 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Broad technical knowledge and familiarity of aircraft, maintenance, interior completions, and FAA/EASA certification.
  • Ability to work well independently and cross-functionally as part of an established and growing team.
  • Strong personnel management, communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to influence, persuade, and negotiate.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and have knowledge of aircraft parts, assembly, and installation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office applications and CRM software.
