We are seeking a Network Product Manager who will report directly to the Global VP of Product Management. This role will oversee the product management of Trilliant's wireless technologies and manage the entire product lifecycle. The Network Product Manager will be responsible for defining market requirements and collaborating closely with Trilliant's engineering, sales, finance, support, and manufacturing teams to successfully launch these solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the complete product lifecycle, from strategic planning to product retirement.
  • Develop comprehensive Market Requirement Definition and Product Requirement Definition documents.
  • Engage with customers and industry experts to create compelling product roadmaps, value propositions, and business cases for investment.
  • Make informed decisions regarding the best approach for new products – whether to build, buy, or partner.
  • Assist in the creation of product documentation, technical notes, white papers, and marketing materials.
  • Support engineering, manufacturing, and customer deployment efforts.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure timely delivery of quality products within budget.
  • Contribute to the development of robust company-wide product management processes.
  • Help shape Trilliant's SmartGrid network solution strategy and roadmap.
  • Conduct competitive analyses.
  • Become the subject matter expert for designated solutions.
  • Work alongside marketing, sales, and business development teams to respond to requests for proposals and provide sales support.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in engineering, marketing, and/or product management roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of wireless communication networks, wireless and IP protocols, and industry standards.
  • Experience in the utility sector is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with customers and colleagues across sales, finance, manufacturing, and engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated success in defining and launching high-quality products.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.

Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
  • Engineering background is required; an MBA is preferred.
