Innova Solutions is actively seeking a Research Scientist to join our dynamic team.
Position Type: Contract
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Seattle, WA

As a Research Scientist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Independently designing and executing plate-based assays to support the development and evaluation of both autologous and allogenic cell therapies in clinical trials, including CAR T cell products.
  • Creating and analyzing experiments with minimal oversight, leading to the establishment of robust analytical methodologies.
  • Developing impactful techniques, including quality control methods for lot release testing and characterization methods that facilitate process development and comparability assessments. These methodologies will enhance the understanding of cell therapies and support the manufacturing processes and quality control release of drug products.
  • Utilizing hands-on experience in ligand binding and antibody assay development while collaborating closely with other teams, such as discovery research, product sciences, process development, and quality control.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A PhD in Biology, Immunology, Cancer Biology, or a related discipline.
  • At least one year of relevant industry experience following the completion of their PhD.
  • Extensive experience in developing ligand binding assays (e.g., ELISA, MSD, Alpha LISA, Simple Plex, Luminex).
  • Proven ability in data analysis and interpretation using software tools (e.g., SoftMax Pro, Gen5, MSD Workbench, Excel).
  • Experience in experimental design and method development (e.g., 96-well plate map layouts).

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range: $58 - $62 per hour.
*The pay range offered to a successful candidate will be determined based on various factors, including education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, and certifications.
