About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our team at a portfolio company of the AI2 Incubator. As a Research Scientist, you will play a key role in advancing our in-house large language models (LLMs) and contributing to the development of novel AI technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fine-tune and optimize large language models for our target applications in chip design
  • Develop benchmarks and metrics to assess the quality of outputs
  • Collaborate and guide data collection
  • Ship features that use the task you fine-tuned on
Requirements
  • Pursuing a Ph.D. in CS, with a focus around ML or chip design (computer architecture and related areas)
  • Strong programming skills in Python, preferably in industry
  • Prior exposure to fine-tuning large language models
  • Prior exposure to hardware description languages like Verilog/SystemVerilog (expertise is not necessary)
  • Exposure to or active participation in the latest research and advancements in AI
