The Research Scientist will play a crucial role in the independent development and execution of plate-based assays aimed at supporting process development and ensuring the characterization and release of cell therapies currently in clinical trials.
Key Responsibilities- Independently design and conduct experiments that contribute to the creation of robust analytical methodologies.
- Develop impactful methods, including quality control procedures for lot release testing and characterization techniques that facilitate process development and comparability assessments.
- Utilize these methodologies to enhance the understanding of cell therapies, support the development of manufacturing processes, and ensure the quality control release of drug products.
- Engage in hands-on experience with ligand binding and antibody assay development, collaborating closely with various teams, including discovery research, product sciences, process development, and quality control.
- Demonstrate a passion for advancing Client medicines, thriving in a challenging intellectual environment, and contributing to product development alongside a team of dedicated scientists.
- Extensive experience in developing ligand binding assays such as ELISA, MSD, AlphaLISA, Simple Plex, and Luminex.
- A PhD with over one year of relevant industry experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in data analysis and experimental design, including the ability to create 96-well plate map layouts.
