Position Overview
The Client Relationship Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional management of client interactions by proactively addressing client needs and inquiries. This position involves conducting thorough research to guarantee that the client's employee benefits program aligns with their financial and organizational objectives, alongside overseeing renewal management with input from senior team members.

This role also encompasses expanding the existing portfolio, gaining insights into the client's operations, and achieving a retention and satisfaction rate of at least 95%.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Service Excellence: Efficiently manage the client service lifecycle, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to renewal timelines.
  • Account Retention and Development: Prepare and draft proposals, conduct quote comparisons, and perform program benchmarking and demographic analyses.
  • Market Management: Oversee renewal processes and new coverage lines, including creating coverage specifications, analyzing carrier quotes, and negotiating terms.
  • Client Engagement: Develop a comprehensive understanding of client businesses, guide them through objective-setting processes, and provide insightful recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated on industry standards and legislative changes through participation in educational activities, including webinars and conferences.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Adhere to professional service standards and achieve high ratings from audits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Risk Management, Analytics, or a related field is preferred; relevant industry experience may substitute for formal education.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in employee benefits management with a focus on medium-sized accounts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Excellent organizational skills and financial analysis capabilities.
  • Proficiency in agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
