Position Overview
The Client Relationship Manager will oversee the quality management of client partnerships by proactively addressing client needs and inquiries, conducting thorough research to ensure that the client's employee benefits strategy aligns with their financial and organizational objectives, and managing renewals with support and insights from senior team members.
This role also encompasses growth within the existing portfolio, a deep understanding of the client's operations, and achieving a retention and satisfaction rate of at least 95%.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Service Excellence: Efficiently manage the client service lifecycle, ensuring timelines are adhered to and renewal deadlines are met.
- Account Retention and Development: Prepare and draft proposals, conduct quote comparisons, and perform program benchmarking and demographic analyses.
- Market Renewals: Create coverage specifications, analyze received quotes, negotiate with carriers, and present coverage analyses.
- Client Engagement: Develop a comprehensive understanding of client businesses, guiding them through the initial objective-setting process and analyzing data to provide informed recommendations.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on technical and professional standards through participation in educational activities and ensure legislative and regulatory changes are communicated effectively to clients.
Qualifications
Preferred candidates will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Risk Management, Analytics, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in employee benefits management for medium-sized accounts. Candidates should demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
Skills Required:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational abilities and financial analysis skills.
- Proficiency in agency management systems and underwriting requirements.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
