Job Overview

We are on the lookout for an Agricultural Sales Specialist to join our team at Syngenta Seeds. In this role, you will be responsible for executing the NK Brand strategy within your designated area, leveraging your local insights and agronomic knowledge to tackle agricultural challenges effectively.

Location: Southern Kansas

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute the NK Brand strategy in collaboration with customers and internal teams to achieve core objectives: Differentiate, Innovate, Outperform, and Leverage.
  • Support the NK Brand Retail sales organization to drive profitable growth.
  • Establish a sustainable and leading position for Syngenta Seeds in the market.
  • Deliver targeted NK Seed brand campaigns and offers through selected channel partners.
  • Demonstrate expertise in our product offerings, particularly in NK Corn and Soybeans.
  • Act as a steward of the NK Seeds portfolio, providing recommendations and managing field concerns in partnership with Agronomy.
  • Meet sales, profit, and market share targets within your territory.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs through consultative selling and build trust with clients.
Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or a related field, or significant experience in the agriculture industry.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in agronomic sales.
  • Strong customer focus with proven sales and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets, variable selling expenses, and marketing funds in accordance with NK Sales Area guidelines.
  • Capability to engage effectively with channel partners to enhance grower connections and deliver solutions.
