Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Specialist to join our team. As an Account Specialist, you will be responsible for selling and expanding our organization's solutions, products, and services. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and develop value-added propositions around new products, processes, and services.
Key Responsibilities- Explore and solicit new sales opportunities within assigned accounts.
- Build strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
- Drive cost savings commitments and ensure goals are exceeded.
- Design and implement strategic sales plans to develop assigned accounts.
- Collaborate with the vendor/supplier community to support solutions selling opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Finance, etc.) and 3+ years of outside or inside experience.
- Demonstrated product and sales knowledge.
- Strong ability to develop and cultivate customer relationships.
- Demonstrated knowledge of product and solution-based sales life cycles and best-in-class processes.
- Proficiency with MS-Office products (Excel, Word & PowerPoint) and the technical aptitude to learn all company-specific programs and software applications.

Must be able to handle and work physical inventory; required to lift up to 25 lbs or greater with assistance following standard operating and safety procedures.
Other physical requirements including, regularly being required to stand, walk, kneel, bend, crouch, crawl, climb, and balance.
