Job Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic Agricultural Sales Specialist to join our team at Syngenta Seeds. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in executing the NK Brand strategy within your designated area, utilizing your extensive local knowledge and agronomic skills to tackle various agricultural challenges.

Location: Southern Kansas

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement the NK Brand strategy effectively with clients and within Syngenta to achieve key objectives: Differentiate, Innovate, Outperform, and Leverage.
  • Support the NK Brand Retail sales organization to drive profitable growth.
  • Establish a leading and sustainable market position for Syngenta Seeds.
  • Deliver NK Seed brand campaigns and promotions to targeted customers through selected channel partners.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of our products, particularly NK Corn and Soybeans.
  • Act as a steward of the NK Seeds portfolio by providing recommendations and managing field concerns in collaboration with Agronomy.
  • Meet sales, profit, and market share targets within your territory.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs through consultative selling, recognized expertise, and building trust.
Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or a related field, or significant experience in the agriculture industry.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Agronomic sales.
  • Strong customer focus with proven sales and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage operational budgets and marketing funds effectively.
  • Capability to engage with channel partners to enhance connections with growers and deliver effective solutions.
