Position Overview:

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) is responsible for executing fundamental patient care procedures as instructed during their training and certification. The PCT is expected to uphold medical cleanliness, respect the dignity and privacy of all patients, maintain professionalism during care, comply with hospital safety protocols, and operate within their training parameters. The PCT works under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse and receives specific assignments that are communicated both verbally and in writing, with the expectation of completing these tasks during their scheduled shifts.

Join our 45-bed Neuro/Med-Surgical unit where our team employs a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to deliver exceptional, compassionate care to patients with complex neurological, medical, and surgical needs. This includes, but is not limited to, acute stroke care, chronic neurological conditions, neurosurgical procedures, and general medical and surgical patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the State of Wisconsin.
  • Current CPR certification or eligibility for certification.

Note: Availability for orientation during the first week of employment is required.
