About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and contributing to the development of evidence-based practice.
Key Responsibilities- Perform assessments, develop plans of care, and implement and evaluate care for assigned patients
- Collaborate with other healthcare disciplines to refine and achieve plans of care
- Continually monitor patients' physical condition, emotional, and social needs
- Perform triage assessments with rapid data collection related to medical and traumatic emergencies
- Formulate plans of care with interdisciplinary team members, including expected outcomes for each assigned patient
- Verify, document, and administer medication properly
- Provide healthcare teaching to patients and families, along with appropriate documentation
- Evaluate patients' progression towards attainment of outcomes and document the effectiveness of interventions
- 1 year of Emergency Department experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
- Trauma Nursing Core Course, or TNCC Instructor must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
