Medical Oncology Clinic Registered Nurse

About the Role:
As a Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) at US Oncology, Inc, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with cancer. This is a full-time position with Monday-Friday hours (8:30am-5pm) and no weekends, call, or major holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess health status by interviewing patients regarding their current status and medical history.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and well-being.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Manage patient medication refill requests and record relevant information in the patient chart.
- Facilitate communication between patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure timely and effective care.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
- Current RN state license with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
