Job Summary

VRC Technologies, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Order Fulfillment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for managing and executing the Order Fulfillment process according to Customer Service Level Agreements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process customer orders through our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
  • Send Order acknowledgment and order confirmation within 24 hours
  • Oversee the order tracking process and ensure orders are processed in accordance with Customer Service Level Agreements
  • Align order requirements and delivery dates with our Production Scheduler and Carriers to meet order requirements
  • Resolve escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments
  • Ensure proper paperwork is sent to Customers prior to delivery
  • Ensure paperwork and transactions in the ERP are complete to invoice Customers within 24 hours after shipment
  • Communicate proactively with Customers regarding order status
  • Update Order Master on a daily basis
  • Attend and contribute to production meetings daily
  • Manage Service Level Agreements Metrics
Logistics Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with our dedicated fleet dispatcher to prioritize fleet usage or book common carriers and ensure customer delivery date and requirements are met
  • Estimate load size for the order and obtain shipping quotes from freight companies
  • Track all shipments and maintain delivery records
  • Review and approve invoices from carriers
Purchasing Responsibilities
  • Execute Purchase Orders based on PO requisitions from Planning and vendor requirements
Requirements
  • High School diploma or 3-5 years of experience in Order Fulfillment, Procurement, and/or Logistics
  • Preferred Experience/Skills:
    • B.A./B.S. Degree
    • APICS certification
    • Microsoft Excel - Advanced
    • QuickBooks or any ERP experience
    • MS Power BI experience
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
