The estimated annual salary for this position is $82,500 - $92,500.

Job Summary

We're looking for a highly skilled Heavy Duty Fleet Engineer to join our team. As an Equipment Operations Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our Construction & Mining operations by planning, scheduling, and budgeting the utilization and reliability of our equipment fleet.

Your primary focus will be on improving equipment reliability and implementing, monitoring, auditing, and managing preventative maintenance programs. You'll also be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company health, safety, and environmental requirements.

Responsibilities

  1. Plan, schedule, and budget the utilization and reliability of the equipment fleet.
  2. Implement, monitor, audit, and manage preventative maintenance programs.
  3. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company health, safety, and environmental requirements.
  4. Coordinate logistics and communication for equipment maintenance and repairs.
  5. Develop and maintain tool/filter lists and documentation.
  6. Conduct inspections of equipment and parts.
  7. Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities with craft maintenance technicians.
  8. Maintain accurate records and reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Diesel/Automotive Technology, Heavy Equipment Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or Construction Management.
  • 1+ year of experience with equipment is preferred.
  • 1+ year of experience with equipment planning, scheduling, and budgeting is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel and relocate as required.
  • Willingness to work in both office and field environments.
