Job Title: Floating Medication Passer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Floating Medication Passer to join our team at Mental Health Association - Western MA. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely administration of medications to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications to clients in accordance with their individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and record medication administration, including any adverse reactions or concerns.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure seamless medication management.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medication administration.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current on medication administration best practices.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in human services or related field preferred.
  • Minimum six months of experience in a residential care setting, particularly with individuals with brain injuries, mental health challenges, or developmental disabilities.
  • Current MAP certification and strong track record of safe medication administration.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare team members.
