Role Summary:

We are seeking a strategic and innovative leader to assume the role of Director, Integrated Media. In this capacity, you will be responsible for overseeing comprehensive media investments, creative direction, and sophisticated measurement solutions for our clientele. Your role will involve leading a team of media buyers and analytics specialists, enhancing creative outputs, and refining analytics and product functionalities. By integrating creativity with data insights, you will be pivotal in executing impactful campaigns that drive sustained growth for our clients.

  • Oversee an annual media investment of $XXXM agency-wide across all clients, channels, and platforms.
  • Lead and develop a team of media buyers and analytics professionals, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Implement advanced analytics and measurement practices focusing on Marketing Mix Modeling, GeoX testing, and other innovative incrementality testing techniques.
  • Establish a robust measurement framework, monitor KPIs, and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with data and analytics teams to leverage insights for informed media buying strategies.
  • Develop and manage marketing mix models, integrating incrementality testing, lift studies, and data governance.
  • Drive creative direction, innovation, and analysis to enhance marketing performance through effective creative strategies.
  • Standardize processes for all aspects of media planning, buying, and execution to ensure consistency and quality across campaigns.
  • Stay ahead of market trends and emerging opportunities, leading the exploration and adoption of new media channels.
  • Utilize cutting-edge media technologies to improve campaign planning, execution, and measurement.
  • Provide strategic guidance to surpass performance objectives and ensure alignment with stakeholders.
  • Encourage experimentation and hypothesis development within the team to devise successful strategies.
  • Engage with clients to understand their business objectives and challenges, providing strategic insights for optimized media strategies.
  • Build relationships with media vendors, platforms, and technology providers to secure favorable rates and access to innovative advertising solutions.
  • Position the agency as a thought leader in media investment through industry contributions and engagements.

Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of experience in integrated media or media investment leadership roles with a focus on direct-to-consumer marketing.
  • Proven experience in managing and expanding large integrated media teams that include media buying, planning, activation, and measurement experts.
  • Strong interest in emerging technologies such as AI and their potential to enhance performance.
  • Comprehensive understanding of best practices across major media platforms including Google, Meta, TikTok, Programmatic, CTV, Linear TV, and DOOH.
  • Organized individual with a data-driven approach and a proactive mindset.
  • Exceptional analytical and creative thinking skills, integrating data insights into media strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge of advanced attribution methods including Media Mix Modeling and Incrementality Testing.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategy development and execution.
  • Outstanding leadership and communication skills to inspire and guide teams and create compelling presentations.
  • Self-motivated with experience in navigating ambiguity to expedite planning processes.
