Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to significantly influence a patient's journey by:

Assisting healthcare providers with examinations and procedures as needed; administering injections as directed by a registered nurse or physician.

Escorting patients to and from examination rooms and treatment areas as necessary.

Collecting essential patient information and vital signs as required by the healthcare provider prior to treatments or procedures.

Performing various administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, faxing, and preparing charts, as requested by supervisors or healthcare providers.

Managing prescription calls and other patient communications as directed by healthcare professionals, including triaging patient inquiries.

Preparing and maintaining examination and treatment rooms, ensuring all disinfection protocols are followed and supplies are adequately stocked.

Qualifications:
Minimum
Essential Qualifications:
A High School Diploma or equivalent.

Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within three months of employment.

Experience in oncology is preferred.
