This senior-level position will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy, building relationships with key stakeholders, and securing significant gifts to support the college's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategic fundraising plan to achieve the college's annual and long-term fundraising goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including major donors, alumni, and community leaders.
  • Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward major gifts from individuals, foundations, and corporations.
  • Collaborate with the Vice President for Advancement and other college leaders to develop and implement a comprehensive advancement strategy.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of development professionals to ensure effective execution of fundraising efforts.
  • Stay up-to-date on best practices in fundraising and advancement, and apply this knowledge to improve the college's fundraising efforts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in fundraising, advancement, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of securing major gifts and developing strategic partnerships.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
