Global Business Analytics Director

Job Summary:

The Director of Global Business Analytics will be responsible for developing and implementing analytical frameworks to support decision-making across multiple stakeholders. This role reports directly to the Global Finance Operations Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide data-driven insights to support long-term business goals, including market expansion, business development activities, and product development.
  • Lead the regular monitoring of industry trends, including regulatory changes, technological advancements, and shifts in healthcare delivery models.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards that track key competitors' financial performance, strategic initiatives, and market positioning.
  • Oversee the creation and distribution of regular reports to senior management, including financial performance, market trends, and competitive analysis.
  • Lead market research initiatives to gather data on customer needs, market conditions, and emerging opportunities.
  • Respond to urgent requests for market analysis from senior leadership, providing fast, accurate, and insightful responses.
  • Manage relationships with external research vendors, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective services.
  • Establish and manage a centralized knowledge management system for the collection, storage, and dissemination of market intelligence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field with 14+ years of experience, or Master's degree in a field with 12+ years of experience, or Doctoral degree in a field with 9+ years of experience.
  • Experience in business analytics, market research, or strategic planning, preferably within the healthcare industry.
  • Proven track record of supporting strategic initiatives through analyzing data and deriving actionable insights.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles (planning and reporting), as well as business analytics techniques and methodologies.
  • Proven track record of managing projects across cross-functional teams and working across multiple cultures/time zones.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently and thrive in fast-paced and dynamic environments.
  • Excellence in interpersonal communications, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to senior leadership.
