The Biomedical Equipment Technician II is a critical member of our team at TriMedx, responsible for installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and verifying the performance of complex biomedical equipment with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Install and inspect biomedical equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety
- Troubleshoot and repair complex biomedical equipment, including diagnostic and therapeutic devices
- Calibrate and verify the performance of biomedical equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Collaborate with medical and clinical staff to provide technical advice on the safe operation and use of clinical equipment
- Develop specifications for the selection of new clinical equipment
- Associate's degree in a technical or electronics field, or equivalent military training, required
- Technical certification (CBET) strongly preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment
- Complex computer skills, including system administration, error code interpretation, and hardware repair
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
