About the Role

The Biomedical Equipment Technician II is a critical member of our team at TriMedx, responsible for installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and verifying the performance of complex biomedical equipment with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and inspect biomedical equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex biomedical equipment, including diagnostic and therapeutic devices
  • Calibrate and verify the performance of biomedical equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Collaborate with medical and clinical staff to provide technical advice on the safe operation and use of clinical equipment
  • Develop specifications for the selection of new clinical equipment
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in a technical or electronics field, or equivalent military training, required
  • Technical certification (CBET) strongly preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment
  • Complex computer skills, including system administration, error code interpretation, and hardware repair
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
