Job Title: Biomedical Technologist Principal

MetaSense Inc is seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Technologist Principal to join our team. As a key member of our Biomedical Engineering department, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance on healthcare technology to senior hospital leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist department managers and supervisors with program management, including work history data analysis, equipment acquisition planning, installation, and testing.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform rounds on clinical units to verify proper equipment use and operation.
  • Provide training and education to other biomedical technicians on devices and systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work and ensure timely completion of scheduled reports.

Requirements:

  • Technical diploma in Biomedical Equipment Technology or Electronic Engineering Technologist.
  • At least eight (8) years of experience working as a biomedical technologist in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of medical devices and systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Biomedical Equipment Technician Certificate (BMET) or Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) certification.
