Biomedical Equipment Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Technician to join our team at GE Healthcare. As a Biomedical Technician, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and repairing biomedical equipment to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate and diagnose biomedical equipment issues to determine the root cause of the problem.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on biomedical equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Follow GE Healthcare policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Document all repair actions and submit reports as required.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- OR equivalent military education.
- OR participant in the formal GEHC Biomed/FE Services Internship or Military Externship program.
- OR High School Diploma/GED and 2+ years of experience servicing electrical, electronics, IT or mechanical equipment.
- One year of applicable work experience in the medical device industry.
