Biomedical Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician II to join our team at TriMedx. As a key member of our clinical engineering team, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and verifying the performance of complex biomedical equipment with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Install, inspect, and test biomedical equipment to ensure proper function and safety
- Troubleshoot and repair complex biomedical equipment using advanced diagnostic techniques
- Calibrate and verify the performance of biomedical equipment to ensure accuracy and precision
- Collaborate with medical and clinical staff to provide technical advice and support on the safe operation and use of clinical equipment
- Develop specifications for the selection of new clinical equipment
- Associates degree in a technical or electronics field, or equivalent military training, required
- Technical certification (CBET) strongly preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment
- Complex computer skills, including the ability to administer a system, interpret error codes, defragment hard drives, replace power supplies, and interpret computer codes
- Ability to integrate information from a variety of sources
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
