Job Summary

Augsburg University is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to provide administrative and operational support to internal and external stakeholders in all areas of the Human Resources department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and support the operational and administrative aspects of the employment life-cycle, including job posting, recruitment, onboarding, and termination.
  • Manage onboarding responsibilities for new faculty and staff, and provide additional recruitment and onboarding support for student employees during peak hiring times or as needed.
  • Coordinate and assist with facilitating bi-weekly new employee and benefits orientations sessions.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for general questions and concerns, and triage more complex matters to the appropriate HR team member.
  • Perform data entry and reporting in HRIS and other HR databases.
  • Manage confidential filing and archiving systems to ensure legal and policy compliance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Two (2) years of relevant administrative experience, including at least one year of experience working in Human Resources.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience with recruitment processes, including candidate screening and participating in the interview process.
  • Previous experience coordinating benefits and payroll functions.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a diverse work environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently with little supervision.
