Job Description

Amergis is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in Warwick, RI. As a Community RN, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive healthcare services, assessing health needs, and promoting overall well-being for individuals supported by J. Arthur Trudeau Memorial Center.

About the Role

This position involves working with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure daily healthcare needs are met. The successful candidate will utilize independent judgment and operational autonomy to manage healthcare cases. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing healthcare services, including occasional emergency triage
  • Assisting in implementing federal and state laws related to healthcare issues
  • Working with the team to plan daily healthcare needs and ensuring health and safety standards are met
  • Monitoring medication administration by trained staff
  • Providing training to ensure staff competency in promoting Amerigasal health and wellness

The ideal candidate will possess a current RI license, valid Rhode Island driver's license, and at least one year of experience working in a residential setting with disabled adults or equivalent experience in home care or case management.
