About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team as a Territory Sales Manager - Imaging Systems. This role will be responsible for all sales activities in the Southwest/Western US territory for the Raman and AFM portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement territory-specific sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, as well as distributor partners.
  • Travel regularly to meet with customers, attend trade shows, and participate in installations.
  • Monitor local industry trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Develop strategic relationships with 3rd party companies and groups to create new opportunities.
  • Prospect for new customers through various channels, including CRM platforms.
  • Manage CRM data to ensure accuracy and up-to-date information.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Service, Marketing, and Applications, to drive sales success.
  • Utilize a value-selling sales approach to leverage Oxford Instruments' offerings and minimize discounting.
  • Maintain expert-level technical knowledge of the Raman and AFM portfolio.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Sciences, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of sales experience in the scientific space.
  • Strong understanding of relevant technologies, customers, and markets.
  • Ability to travel approximately 75% of the time, including occasional international travel.
What We Offer

Oxford Instruments offers a competitive salary range of $105,000 - $115,000, plus commission. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, and paid time off. Additionally, we offer professional development opportunities, including tuition reimbursement.
