We are currently on the lookout for a Lead Software Support Engineer. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive mindset and tackle challenges with enthusiasm and resolve. Candidates should showcase excellence in their areas of expertise, demonstrate a quick learning ability, and strive for perfection in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities:
  • Possess a robust understanding of WiFi, LTE, and GPS protocols at the protocol level.
  • Have knowledge of security concepts including Mutual TLS, VPN, 802.1x, and PKI.
  • Bring extensive experience in testing networking and/or automotive products.
  • Exhibit proficiency in script reading for troubleshooting issues on the Telematics Control Unit.
  • Document issues comprehensively and collaborate with developers to resolve them.
  • Show a passion for testing embedded systems.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Over 5 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Proficient in writing software using C/C++ and Shell Scripts.
  • Experienced in debugging and investigating issues related to embedded systems.
  • Understanding of Linux OS fundamentals and IPC mechanisms.
  • Familiarity with vehicle communication protocols such as CAN, DoIP, ETH, and LIN.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting and identifying root causes in complex systems.
  • Experience with scripting languages/tools to enhance software development and testing processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Knowledge of circuit design and automotive wire-harness is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Diagnostics-over-IP (DoIP) is a plus.
  • Understanding of Unified Diagnostic Services (UDS) is beneficial.
