Position Overview:
The Senior Process Engineer is responsible for the development, validation, implementation, and maintenance of methodologies, workflows, and systems for the efficient production of goods. This role involves estimating manufacturing costs, determining production requirements, and overseeing the introduction of new or existing products.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain operational methods and sequences for the manufacturing or fabrication of components and assemblies. Implement cost-effective production processes in alignment with product specifications and quality standards, including production flow, PFMEA, and shop floor control.
2. Recommend enhancements to production processes and controls. Collaborate with management to improve the organization’s production control systems, standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and training programs.
3. Design and source tools, machinery, and equipment necessary for recommended manufacturing methods.
4. Collaborate with design and product engineering teams to coordinate the launch of new products. Establish goals, train team members, and evaluate outcomes during the manufacturing launch of new or revised products.
5. Conduct cost estimations for manufacturing, determine time standards, and recommend tooling and process requirements for new or existing product lines. Analyze products and processes for cost reduction, quality enhancement, and efficiency improvements.
6. Maintain comprehensive records and reporting systems for manufacturing operations, including post-build reports and process routing documentation.
7. Provide engineering support and share technical expertise across departments. Participate in root cause analysis for defective products and review quality data to suggest corrective actions.

Qualifications:
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field is required, along with at least five years of relevant experience in quality assurance within an electronics manufacturing services environment. Advanced knowledge in process engineering systems and tools is essential, including proficiency in various software applications related to manufacturing processes.
