Role Summary:
This position seeks a seasoned professional with expertise in firmware development and hardware design. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive mindset and a strong commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize software for ARM-based microprocessors and microcontrollers.
  • Utilize various communication protocols such as SPI, UART, I2C, Ethernet, USB, MIPI CSI-2, LVDS, and GMSL.
  • Employ compilers and GNU toolchains tailored for ARM architecture.
  • Create testing frameworks using Python or other Object-Oriented Programming languages.
  • Interpret schematics and component datasheets, effectively distinguishing between software and hardware challenges.
  • Collaborate within a dynamic, cross-functional team, leveraging a solid foundation in software programming languages.
  • Design and implement automated testing scripts for DVT and Compliance testing, along with generating comprehensive reports.
  • Conduct Linux board bring-up and testing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in firmware development (C/C++) and testing software for ARM-based systems.
  • Proven track record in large-scale algorithmic environments.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, Golang, or Scala.
  • Experience in delivering customer-facing software solutions.
  • Commitment to high standards of code quality, maintainability, and performance.
  • Willingness to explore new technologies across various domains: Vehicle Control, Routing/Guidance Algorithms, Server Infrastructure, UI, and Embedded Systems.
  • Familiarity with Maps, GIS, or Computational Geometry data is advantageous.
