About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef - Dietary to join our team at St. Mary Medical Center. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for the preparation and coordination of all foods for patients, hospital staff, visitors, and special functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals that meet the dietary needs of our patients and staff.
  • Monitor and train cooks as needed to ensure consistency and excellence in food preparation.
  • Maintain high standards of quality food preparation, portion control, and use of standardized recipes.
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes.

Requirements:

  • National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority.
  • National ServSafe Manager Certification - National Restaurant Association within 6 months of hire.
  • 2 years of formal experience and/or training in quantity food preparation, including basic preparation, sanitation, estimating quantities of foods needed, weights and measures, and adjusting recipes for various quantities and equipment.
