About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist Specialist to join our team at Hearst. As a key member of our editorial department, you will play a critical role in researching and analyzing pharmaceutical information to create accurate and reliable content for our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research on pharmaceutical information, analyze clinical evidence, and interpret results to create high-quality content for our MedKnowledge base.
  • Data Entry and Management: Direct and perform data entry tasks, verify data entry performed by other team members, and manage and respond to internal post-production data audit reports.
  • Quality Control: Review daily data change reports, identify inconsistencies, and take action to resolve them.
  • Process Improvement: Actively contribute to process and quality improvement efforts, provide in-services and presentations to team members, and bring challenging or controversial clinical issues to the team for discussion.
  • Customer Support: Field customer questions using basic data analytic skills to identify the issue and deliver a possible solution, working with management to deliver a final solution.
Requirements
  • Clinical Experience: 2 years of recent experience in a clinical pharmacy setting with a bachelor's degree, or 1 year of experience in a clinical pharmacy setting with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited U.S. College of Pharmacy. Must be actively registered as a pharmacist in at least one State.
  • Advanced Training: Residency/fellowship, board certification, or advanced training in a related field is preferred.
  • Professional Organizations: Active membership in a pharmacy-related professional organization is preferred and encouraged after hire.
