Position Summary:
The Pharmaceutical Care Specialist plays a vital role in the Editorial division, focusing on ensuring the accuracy and relevance of drug information.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough research on pharmaceutical data, making precise observations, analyzing clinical evidence, and interpreting findings for inclusion in our knowledge base.
  • Oversee data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards. Independently prioritize and manage assigned tasks effectively.
  • Review daily reports for data changes and address any discrepancies promptly.
  • Gain insights into the operational risks and benefits associated with key system forms.
  • Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives and provide training sessions to team members.
  • Address customer inquiries with informed responses, utilizing basic data analysis skills to identify and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Essential Skills:
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and seek assistance when necessary.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate extensive data and draw evidence-based conclusions.
  • Proficient in adhering to established work procedures and meeting deadlines.
  • Familiarity with MS Office applications and willingness to learn new software tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Support pharmacy interns in project completion through mentorship.
Qualifications:
  • Clinical Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a clinical pharmacy environment with a bachelor’s degree; or 1 year with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited institution. Active pharmacist registration in at least one state is required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Advanced training such as residency or fellowship, and board certification are advantageous.
  • Professional Affiliations: Membership in pharmacy-related organizations is encouraged.
