We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team at Performance Contracting Group, Inc. as a Building Information Modeling (BIM) Specialist. This individual will be responsible for creating 3D models using Revit and other software platforms, as well as coordinating with design and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Modeling: Create 3D models using Revit and other software platforms, including Revit Family Editor.
- BIM Coordination: Actively participate in BIM coordination and design meetings to ensure spatial coordination and accuracy.
- Project Management: Coordinate with point cloud files, ensure models are spatially coordinated, and escalate any issues to the BIM Coordinator and Design or Operations Team.
- Software Proficiency: Possess proficiency with software platforms including Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks Manage, and BIM 360 Design/Glue.
- Communication: Present a portfolio demonstrating work in Revit and Revit Family Editor, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (Construction Management, Construction Science, Architecture, Engineering Fields, etc.) preferred.
- Experience: 4+ years of BIM (Revit)/VDC modeling and coordination experience.
- Skills: Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Word, and ability to multitask under pressure.
- Experience: Experience with cleanroom, non-structural metal framing, drywall, faade systems, ceiling systems preferred.
- Software Knowledge: Working knowledge of Dynamo, Revit API, SketchUp, and iConstruct are a plus.
