Position Overview:

The HR Representative collaborates closely with HR leadership and operational management to devise strategies that address the current and future workforce needs of the airport. Key Duties:

1. Provide comprehensive HR services to designated operational areas.

2. Collaborate with management to fulfill business objectives.

3. Advise leadership on employee performance and disciplinary matters.

4. Conduct internal investigations, resolve grievances, and recommend employment actions as necessary, adhering to company policies and legal standards.

5. Oversee recruitment processes, including maintaining job postings, reviewing applications, and coordinating preliminary interviews for candidates.

6. Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary background checks and documentation are completed.

7. Support performance management and compensation processes, while staying informed about local pay practices.

8. Maintain the confidentiality and accuracy of employee records and HR files.

9. Work with the HR management team to enhance policies and procedures for improved HR operations.

10. Review employee data changes in the HRIS, including new hires, terminations, and payroll adjustments.

Decision-Making Authority:

This role requires daily judgment in managing HR programs and providing guidance to management and employees. For significant decisions that deviate from established policies, consultation with senior HR leadership is necessary.

Qualifications:

To effectively fulfill the responsibilities of this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution and a minimum of three years of progressively responsible HR experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- In-depth knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.

- Proficiency in data analysis, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.

- High level of confidentiality and accuracy in handling sensitive information.

- Familiarity with HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

- Preferred certifications include PHR or SHRM-CP.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of this position include:

- Frequent standing, walking, and sitting.

- Prolonged periods of desk work and computer use.
