Key Responsibilities
  • Management of a multi-million dollar performance marketing spend built upon strict cost per acquisition targets, driving profitable growth across all channels.
  • Optimization of media mix, leading with a test and learn approach to ensure the company remains at the forefront of all acquisition opportunities.
  • Management of the digital agency, continuously challenging them to deliver best-in-class acquisition strategies.
  • Partner with the retention marketing team to drive loyalty amongst new recruits, held against strict repeat rate targets.
  • Collaborate with all trading channels to deliver excellent customer journeys focused on driving conversion.
  • Guide and challenge product development teams on what is required to achieve acquisition goals, producing insightful analysis to support future buying decisions.
  • Continuously monitor LTVs dependent on recruitment product and channel to fine-tune how the company acquires customers as categories and assortment grow within the brand.
  • Own strategy for performance creative and partner with brand and creative teams to produce creative collateral tailored to the range of acquisition marketing tactics operated across all performance marketing channels.
  • Partner with marketing on campaign briefs throughout the year to drive integrated results and collaborate closely with the site, creative, product, marketing, and data analytics teams to build and execute campaigns effectively.
  • Ability to manage both current performance goals and strategize long-term plans to drive brand awareness as the company executes best-in-class marketing campaigns to fuel business growth.
  • Keep data at the center of everything, focusing on how to better capture and produce information so that the organization can consume and utilize and support profitable growth ambitions.
  • Oversee and drive the evaluation, implementation, and management of marketing technology systems (e.g., incrementality, attribution, analytics).
  • Lead with a test and learn approach across everything, ensuring the company stays at the forefront of the ever-changing world of performance marketing.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team to achieve strategic goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in performance marketing, with 3+ years of managing others.
  • Experience managing an annual performance marketing budget.
  • Proven track record of setting and hitting key growth targets (e.g., CPA, CAC, ROAS, LTV, etc.).
  • Advanced understanding of all digital marketing channels.
  • Advanced knowledge of web analytics tools such as GA4.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the passion to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong collaboration cross-functionally, especially with brand marketing and creative teams.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop long-term plans and execute them effectively, but also able to lean in and be executional when required.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Direct-to-consumer experience required.
  • Apparel experience preferred.
